On Tuesday 11 November, we came together for Building Scotland’s Fair Work Future, a day dedicated to advancing fair work principles across Scotland. We were thrilled to welcome over 100 delegates who share our commitment to making fair work a reality and to look back on 10 years of the Fair Work Convention in Scotland.
The event featured insightful presentations, engaging workshops, and thought-provoking discussions. From celebrating Living Wage Week to exploring the Fair Work Nations Indicator Progress Report, and hearing from inspiring speakers like, Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes MSP, Panellists, Colin Borland, Director of FSB Scotland, Michelle Ferguson, Director of CBI Scotland, Roz Foyer, STUC General Secretary and Marek Zemanik – Senior Public Policy Adviser, UK Nations, CIPD Scotland. We also heard insights from Chris Smallwood, Living Wage Scotland and Professor Ruth Dukes on the Employment Rights Bill. The day was packed with ideas and actions to shape Scotland’s fair work journey
