Today we welcome Peter Hunter as a new member of the Fair Work Convention.
Peter is the UNISON Regional Manager for the North of Scotland. UNISON is Scotland’s biggest public service trade union, representing workers delivering public and related services across Scotland. Peter leads UNISON’s organising, equality, legal, education and social care work.
Peter said:
“I am very much looking forward to getting involved with the work of the Convention and to helping deliver fair work for all Scottish workers, employers and society.”
Fair Work Convention co-chairs Mary Alexander and Patricia Findlay added:
“We welcome Peter as our latest member of the Fair Work Convention. With his extensive experience particularly in Adult Social Care, pay equality, human rights, low pay and access to justice, Peter will provide valuable expertise and experience to the Convention.”
