It is an opportunity to reflect on the 26th UN Climate Change Conference and to explore and discuss the action Scotland must now take to create a net zero carbon economy by 2045 that has fair work at its heart.
Join our Co- Chair Professor Patricia Findlay who will facilitate discussion from guest speakers:
- Professor Jim Skea, Co-Chair IPCC working group 3 and Chair, Just Transition Commission
- Roz Foyer – STUC General Secretary and Fair Work Convention member

- Alan Thornburrow, Scotland Director – Business in the Community
There is no better time than in the aftermath of COP26 to reflect on the scale of the environmental challenges we face in Scotland and globally.
Transiting to a net zero economy means changing fundamentally the type of economy that exists in Scotland, and a just transition is only truly ‘just’ if it is rooted in fair work principles.
